A New Mexican Journey

I am a product of New Mexico’s complex history. Born in Albuquerque, I grew up as an "urban Indian" - a living result of the Americanization of Native peoples. But for the last 40 years, Santa Fe has been my home, my playground, and my community.

My journey has been about the active, daily work of reinforcing my Native ancestry in a modern world.

I started Blue Edge Journeys because after four decades in this city, I saw a gap. I saw visitors falling in love with the "Santa Fe Style" buildings without ever experiencing the heartbeat within the community. I don't give "brochure tours." I offer a narrative built on 40 years of lived experience, one that honors our history of resistance and celebrates our modern vibrancy.
