“Walk the Native Path”
A Downtown Santa Fe Walking Tour
Most visitors just see the Plaza; with Blue Edge Journeys, you’ll understand the heartbeat beneath it. This isn’t a dry history lecture. It's a walk into the soul of where I call home.
Led by a Native guide, we’ll untangle the fifty shades of brown architecture, lean into the grit of the Pueblo Revolt, explain why we collectively cheer while a 50-foot puppet, named Zozobra, goes up in flames every year and more! It’s insightful, unvarnished, and because I’ve been exploring these streets for decades, I’ll point you toward the absolute best breakfast in town.
The Vibe: Dynamic, conversational, and unvarnished.
Highlights:
San Miguel Chapel
Plaza
Barrio de Analco
and more!

Exploring Santa Fe means feeling the stories held in the land itself. From the curve of ancient mountains to the scent of piñon on the breeze, our guides reveal how this place was shaped over millions of years. How its beauty called ancestors here long ago. The cultures that have lived and continue to live here have each left their mark, creating the vibrant, layered Santa Fe you experience today.
-
Looking through a Native lens invites us to hear stories that are often left out, adding depth and richness to Santa Fe’s history. These perspectives don’t replace the familiar story but expand it, helping us see the city in a more connected and meaningful way.
-
As you can see, we center the Native voice. With a Native guide, you’ll experience Santa Fe through the eyes of those who have seen its beauty, its challenges, and the many changes that have shaped it over time. It’s a deeper, more honest understanding of a place built by many, but rooted in Indigenous presence.

Our group tours are small, no more than 8 people (15 yrs old and up). This allows more opportunity to have connection and conversation with your Native guide.
